| 答覆 | 【內政部移民署】 National Immigration Agency, Ministry of the Interior 依外國人停留居留及永久居留辦法第14條規定，外國人居留原因消失(例如休學)，經廢止居留許可，但有該辦法第3條第2項各款情形(例如懷胎7個月以上、罹患疾病住院或在臺灣地區患重病或受重傷住院需人照顧等)之一，並提出證明者，內政部移民署得依該辦法第3條第3項酌予延長其出國期限。 In accordance with Article 14 of the Regulations Governing Visiting, Residency, and Permanent Residency of Aliens, if the original reason for a foreigner's residence in Taiwan (e.g., suspending studies) disappears, and the residence permit is revoked, but the individual falls under one of the situations specified in Article 3, Paragraph 2 of the same Regulations (e.g., being pregnant for more than 7 months, hospitalized due to illness, or being hospitalized in Taiwan due to serious illness or injury requiring care), and provides proof of such, the Ministry of the Interior's National Immigration Agency may, in accordance with Article 3, Paragraph 3 of said Regulations, consider granting an extension to the deadline for leaving the country. |
