| 答覆 | 教育部提供臺灣獎學金、獎勵海外優秀僑生回國就讀大學校院獎學金、補助大學設置研究所優秀僑生獎學金及清寒僑生助學金等，配合新南向政策，近幾年臺灣獎學金已增加名額，清寒僑生助學金每年增加700名受益人數。教育部在整體預算額度下，將儘量寬列僑外生獎助學金經費。 Ministry of Education provides Taiwan scholarships, scholarships to encourage outstanding overseas Chinese students to return to Taiwan to study at Taiwanese colleges and universities, scholarships for outstanding overseas Chinese students in research institutes, and scholarships for overseas Chinese students with financial hardships. In line with the new southbound policy, the number of Taiwan scholarships has increased in recent years. We've also increased the recipient number by 700 each year for overseas Chinese students with financial hardship. The Ministry of Education will try to widen the funding of scholarships and grants for overseas Chinese and foreign students within the annual budget. |
