【NISA Event】From Rice Noodles to the World
Education Institute Event“A Taste of the World: Cultural Exchange Day at Old Pot Farm”
To give host families a chance to connect with lovely international students from around the world, NISA is organizing another exciting event!
This time, we’re heading to the charming and culturally rich Old Pot Farm in Hsinchu, where participants will get to know one another through ice-breaker games and hands-on traditional Taiwanese food DIY. Enjoy an afternoon of chatting, making, and learning together in a relaxed atmosphere—while experiencing the richness of Taiwan's food culture!

【Additional Notes】
1. A separate email will be sent to collect insurance information for each family member. Kindly respond within 3 days to ensure smooth processing.
2. Participants requiring a shuttle, please meet at Zhunan Train Station East Exit (Weixin Rd.) by 12:35 PM.
3. If coming on your own, please arrive at LaoGuo Leisure Farm by 1:00 PM.
4. A pre-departure notice will be sent via email 3 days before the event—please keep an eye on your inbox.
5. While most activities will be held indoors, please bring an umbrella in case of unexpected weather.
6. To support sustainability, please bring your own water bottle.
7. As the weather may be hot, we recommend wearing light and breathable clothing.
8. In the event of a typhoon, we will follow Taichung City and Hsinchu City Government’s class/work suspension announcements to decide whether to cancel. Any changes will be announced the day before the event.

【NISA Event】Picnic with the World
Education Institute Event《Picnic with the World | Sunshine。Picnic。Pets》
To give host families a chance to meet and connect with lovely international students from around the world, NISA is hosting another fun event!
This time, we're heading outdoors for a relaxed and delightful picnic at the most chill spot in Taichung — the People's Square (CMP Lawn). Each family will enjoy afternoon tea and casual conversation with 2–3 international students, soaking up the sunshine, soft grass, and the joy of cultural exchange!

Location: Taichung People's Square (Intersection of Zhongxing St. and Gongzheng Rd.)
Fee: Free of charge
【 What We Provide】
To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable picnic experience, we’ll provide the following:
• A delicious bento box and lightly sweetened iced drinks
• Grouping with 2–3 international students per family
• Picnic mats (feel free to bring extra gear!)
• You're welcome to bring and share your own snacks or dishes
• Pets are warmly welcome too!
【Other Reminders】
1. Please make your own way to the event location.
2. A pre-event reminder will be sent three days before the event.
3. This is an outdoor event, so please be prepared for sun protection and hydration (you may bring a hat, sunglasses, umbrella, cooling towel, etc.).
4. Due to the hot weather, we recommend wearing light and breathable clothing.
5. The event will take place on an open lawn. Please bring your own insect repellent (spray, patches, etc.).
6. If you are bringing pets, please prepare a leash, pet carrier, food, water, and cleaning supplies.
7. In case of rain, we will announce any postponement or change of venue one day before the event, depending on the weather conditions.
