畢業後留臺工作，依親居留子女滿 20 歲後可否繼續在臺灣居留。Can dependent children stay in Taiwan after they reach 20 years of age?

若外國人係以「依親」事由居留於我國，依上述辦法第 8 條第 2 項規定，外國人經許可在臺灣地區居留，年齡在 20 歲以上，其父或母持有外僑居留證或外僑永久居留證，且有下列情形之一者，得申請延期居留： If foreigners reside in our country on the grounds of “dependents”, according to Paragraph 2, Article 8 of the Regulations Governing Visiting, Residency, and Permanent Residency of Aliens, foreigners who are permitted to reside in the Taiwan area and are or over 20 years of age with their father or mother holding an alien resident certificate or permanent resident certificate, may apply for extension of residence with one of the following circumstances: (一)曾在我國合法累計居留 10 年，每年居住超過 270 日。 (1) having once legally resided in our country for an accumulated period of 10 years, during which having lived for more than 270 days per year. (二)未滿 16 歲入國，每年居住超過270 日。 (2) entering our country under the age of 16 and having lived for more than 270 days per year. (三)在我國出生，曾在我國合法累計居留 10 年，每年居住超過 183 日。 (3) being born in our country, and having once legally resided in our country for an accumulated period of 10 years, during which having lived for more than 183 days per year. |
